ART FOR ALL… ALL FOR ART

The Art for All...All for Art program provides all school district students - Francophone and Anglophone - with the opportunity to develop in the arts and culture in a professional level creative space with trained and professional artists.

The Art for All...All for Art has as its primary objective the strengthening and development of the cultural identity of youth in the community through creativity and participation in artistic and cultural activities at the Dieppe Arts and Culture Centre (DACC). By participating in this program with four different components, youth in the Greater Dieppe area will have the opportunity to gain experience in performing arts, music, film, and visual arts or dance year after year.

Since the inception of the Art for All...All for Art program, thousands of Francophone and Anglophone students have had the opportunity to visit the DACC and enjoy the artistic production.
They also had the chance to interact and create with artists.

The positive impact of Art for All...All for Art is to make students aware of:
  • The importance of arts and culture in society;
  • The importance of appreciating the arts in an appropriate and adequate venue;
  • The value of creative work;
  • What the DACC, which is located in their own community, can offer.

THE CULTURE TRAIL

The Culture Trail project allowed a total of 1600 youth to participate in the creation of public works during the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 school years. To do so, classes of students from francophone schools in the Dieppe area (District scolaire francophone Sud) went to the Centre des arts et de la culture de Dieppe (CACD) to participate in the creation of sculptures, guided by professional artists. Sentier de culture is part of the DACC's Art for All… All for Art arts access program. The sculptures are installed along the trails of the Saint-Anselme Rotary Park in Dieppe. They promote francophone culture and artistic expression of youth, artists and francophone expression in the region.

CHANTE TON CENTRE

Chante ton Centre is a community project of the Dieppe Centre for Arts and Culture designed as an innovative learning and outreach opportunity for young aspiring choristers to have a meaningful experience with Acadian francophone artists. Part of the Centre's Art for All... All for Art program, the project is an inspiring educational journey rich in cultural and musical development.
