Eco-responsability

Our commitment to eco-responsibility

Did you know that, for several years now, we have been implementing various initiatives to reduce waste and improve our eco-responsibility practices?

Among other concrete actions, we have installed a water fountain to limit the use of single-use containers, and replaced a large proportion of disposable crockery with reusable crockery.

In an effort to reduce our environmental impact, we have considerably reduced our paper consumption. The printing of posters is now restricted to what is strictly necessary: we give priority to digital communication, promoting our events mainly via our social networks and digital channels. This transition to more sober, modern communication is part of a global approach to ecological responsibility.

Physical tickets have been discontinued, unless expressly requested. To attend our shows, a digital ticket is all you need: it can be presented directly on a smartphone at the entrance. This initiative not only limits the use of paper, but also avoids the use of energy-hungry and potentially polluting printing equipment.

We attach great importance to the provenance of the products we use. With this in mind, we collaborate as much as possible with local suppliers, both for the supply of our bar and for the snacks offered to the artists. This choice encourages short supply chains, reduces transport-related emissions, and supports our region's economy.
Our commitment to eco-responsibility also extends to our artistic programming. We showcase artists who are sensitive to environmental issues, and who integrate sustainable practices into their work. Some explore innovative approaches, such as reusing materials to create sets or installations, illustrating that art and ecological awareness can go hand in hand.

A number of projects undertaken by the City of Dieppe are also aimed at improving the building's energy efficiency and ecological footprint.

In short, we wanted to share with you our commitment to a cleaner, more sustainable future, in harmony with our environment. We firmly believe that doing so is essential for future generations.

Of course, there's still a long way to go. We'd love to hear your ideas and suggestions. Please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected].
