Art opening by Julie Caissie - March 5 from 5 to 7
An exceptional opening evening awaits you at the opening of the exhibition "A sky not so high" by Julie Caissie in the CACD Gallery. Come celebrate art by discovering new forms of artistic expression and enjoy a convivial buffet offered on site.
Julie Caissie’s multidisciplinary practice combines painting, photography, performance and sculpture. Installative and immersive, she creates abstract landscapes with fluid lines, bright textures and vibrant colors, exploring boundaries to invent impossible refuge spaces. His works incorporate shells, water, birds, horizon lines and the sea, going beyond traditional Acadian folk symbols. By approaching and interpreting the subtle spaces through instinct, feeling and sensation, she often traces parts of her body on the canvas, interacting with the surface through basic lines that guide the trails of flamboyant-coloured paint.
Join us at the Centre des arts et de la culture de Dieppe to celebrate together this exhibition and dive into the world of Julie Caissie.
The exhibition will be presented from March 2 to May 5, 2026.
