The On Stage With… series presents its final two concerts of the season at the Centre des arts et de la culture de Dieppe
The On Stage With… series is set to wrap up its first edition with two performances showcasing standout artists from New Brunswick’s music scene: Dorice on Thursday, April 30, and Maggie Savoie on Thursday, May 28.
Presented as intimate concerts, the series invites artists and audiences to share the same stage, creating a rare sense of closeness and an authentic musical experience. For this inaugural edition, the spotlight is on female and queer talent from the Atlantic region.
Dorice, Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 7pm
Dorice (Christine Gollan) is an Acadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from southeastern New Brunswick. Classically trained in piano at the Université de Moncton, she stands out for her refined and expressive musical approach. Winner of the Singer-Songwriter Award at the 55th Gala de la chanson de Caraquet in 2024, she also received the Festival acadien de Caraquet’s Coup de cœur award, the Prix Jacques Boucher Architecte Ltée, and a Camp en chanson de Petite-Vallée award.
In 2025, alongside her musicians Simon Daniel, Maude Sonier, and Maxence Cormier, Dorice opened for the art rock band The Gregories at Xeroz Arcade Bar in Moncton, as well as for Matt Boudreau during the Festival acadien de Caraquet at Foley Beach. She also performed in a showcase as part of Francofête en Acadie’s Onepascouchées series.
Maggie Savoie — Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 7pm
Music has been part of Maggie Savoie’s life for as long as she can remember but thanks to a fortunate turn of events, she began her professional career as a singer-songwriter in 2015. Since then, she has released several albums.
At first glance, Maggie Savoie’s musical style can be described as folk, but with closer listening, you can hear a rich and varied musical background. A guitarist first and foremost, her arrangements are rooted in folk with touches of blues and sometimes rock. Her music brings together both simple and complex melodies, while her voice and lyrics connect equally with the heart and the mind through their simplicity and authenticity.
The On Stage With… series is the result of a collaboration with Le Grenier Musique.
