Youth Creative NB : An Inspiring Residency at DACC

Youth Creative NB is an exciting initiative that showcases five talented young artists from Mathieu Martin School. Supported by the Sheilah Hugh Mackay Foundation in partnership with nine arts centers across New Brunswick, this project began in late January and ran until February 2024, representing a true opportunity for artistic growth.

Under the guidance of renowned artist Émerise Leblanc-Nowlan, these young creators explore their creativity and express themselves through a variety of artistic mediums. Their work will culminate in a prestigious exhibition at the Beaverbrook Gallery in Fredericton in May 2024, where their artwork will be showcased to the public.

It's a unique opportunity for Mathieu Martin School students to immerse themselves in the world of professional art and develop their skills under the guidance of an experienced mentor. This enriching experience opens up new perspectives and provides a platform for artistic expression and self-discovery.
