Before each painting, I stand in silence before the blank space and choose three colours, primary or secondary, like three doors leading into the unknown. This ritual marks the beginning of an intuitive process in which painting becomes energy, presence, and a state of being. I allow an inner vibration to emerge, guided by gestures, splashes, stains, shadows, and light. Colour then ceases to be simply pigment and becomes breath, impulse, and movement.
Gradually, the material takes shape, shifting between abstraction and emerging forms. For me, painting is an inner experience, an invisible dialogue with the canvas. I respond to what it reveals and allow myself to be guided toward a territory I do not yet know. I never paint what I know, but rather what is seeking to appear.
Technically, I work in successive layers to create depth, texture, and a sense of three-dimensionality. From these layers, silhouettes, fragments, or traces of a world in transformation sometimes emerge. My approach evokes the experience of looking at clouds: we think we recognize an image, only for it to disappear moments later.
My painting inhabits this fragile space between appearance and disappearance, between matter and spirit, intuition and the unknown. To paint is to give form to this inner energy and to accept moving forward with it freely, without certainty.
