Try Stand-Up Comedy!

Want to try stand-up comedy? Join Yves Doucet and Line Woods for a fun and inclusive workshop where you’ll learn how to develop your own comedy routine. All you need to bring is a notebook to jot down your ideas and punchlines!

Over 4 sessions, you’ll work with two experienced comedians to write and develop a 7-minute comedy routine. No comedy experience is necessary!

The workshop is held in French, with the goal of learning and becoming familiar with comedy writing techniques. Participants can also, if they wish, use the opportunity to prepare for the HubCap Comedy Festival’s amateur stand-up competition.

5th session: The Show!

On January 7, 2027, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., present your routine on the CACD stage in front of your family, friends, and the public, if you want to!
No one is required to perform in front of an audience.

Free admission to the final show!
